Jim launched Plural Strategy in 2014. He has worked in the information industries for over 20 years, both as a consultant and in industry. Jim has advised many of the leading global players in b2b information, data and analytics, media and marketing services, and software. He helps clients with growth strategy, performance improvement, digital transformation and acquisition, and has supported private equity clients on some of the pre-eminent deals in the sector.

He is also a member of the Plural band!

Catherine joined Plural from Landmark Information Group, where she was Director of Strategic Innovation. Prior to Landmark, Catherine was a strategy and M&A consultant supporting clients in the B2B information and media industries.

Catherine has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Outside of work, you will find Catherine keeping up with her two young children or running by the river close to home.

Tim is an experienced senior executive having successfully led teams in global data and technology firms. Most recently Tim held a global leadership role at ICE Data Services, a leader in financial market data.

In 2009 Tim joined SAP as Managing Director UK and also led the Emerging Markets division. Before that Tim spent 16 years at Gartner, holding a number of different roles including Global Head of Sales and was a member of the Operating Committee. Tim has global experience working in both London and New York and holds a law degree from the University of Buckingham.

Guy Dunn is the Chief Executive Officer at Derivia Intelligence. Derivia was formed after the private equity firm, Epiris, acquired the majority of Euromoney Institutional Investor (FTSE 250) in 2022.

Guy's role involves overseeing the strategic direction and growth of the group, preparing for it to be operated as a standalone business along with its leading market intelligence brands.

Guy was previously COO of ISI Emerging Markets, which experienced two rounds of private equity ownership. Prior to that, Guy was CEO of EMIS and was CEO of Euromoney Thought Leadership. Guy previously held Managing Director roles at the Economist Group and IHS Global Insight.

I have spent my entire working life in the information services sector, first as an analyst and product manager, then as an executive and CEO, and now as an investor, partner, and adviser to ambitious and motivated management teams. I am passionate about helping to build innovative, world-class companies that harness the power of data and analytics and enable companies to address their most pressing challenges and biggest opportunities.

Having led companies through the growth curve from $4M of revenue to $2B, I am well versed in (and sympathetic to!) the scale challenges, the great joys, and the inevitable frustrations of working in and leading growth companies.

Elizabeth Bramson-Boudreau is the CEO and publisher of MIT Technology Review, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s independent media company.

Since Elizabeth took the helm of MIT Technology Review in mid-2017, the business has undergone a massive transformation from its previous position as a respected but niche print magazine to a widely read, multi-platform media brand with a global audience and a sustainable business. Under her leadership, MIT Technology Review has been lauded for its editorial authority, its best-in-class events, and its novel use of independent, original research to support both advertisers and readers.

Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience advising corporate and private equity clients covering the intersection of information, media, marketing and technology sectors in London, New York and Hong Kong.

He leads client engagements, ensuring that the team addresses the key strategic issues facing our clients.

Jonathan holds a BSc in Management from the University of Warwick.

After 15 years as an award-winning editor and journalist, Carla moved to the world of trend forecasting in 2014 and leads our global business.

Before WGSN, Carla was the founding editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post UK, and an editorial director for the global brand. She has also held roles at Marie Claire, Glamour and Vogue.com, as well as contributing to The Guardian, and sitting on the advisory board for The Telegraph Media Group.

Carla speaks at events including SXSW, Cannes Lions, TedX and Web Summit, delivering advice to CEOs on how they can future-proof their businesses and their brands.

Justin Helmig has over 25 years of executive marketing, product, and general management experience with both public and private software companies.

Justin is currently CEO at IMPLAN, the leader in economic analytics software. After joining IMPLAN in late 2021, he helped the team (profitably) triple ARR and sell to Charlesbank in late 2024.

Bart is a seasoned consultant with over ten years of experience, dedicated to driving client growth.

He believes that the foundation of true value creation lies in a profound understanding of customers’ challenges, needs, and behaviours, and has specific expertise in customer segmentation, helping clients tailor their strategies to effectively meet diverse market demands.

Bart holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investments from the University of Rotterdam. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, continually seeking new challenges and pushing his limits.

Heffy Provost serves as Chief Executive Officer of AGDATA, leading the company’s overall strategic direction as an industry leader in software and data aggregation solutions in agriculture and animal health. Heffy joined AGDATA in June 2017 and brings more than 25 years of experience in developing and leading software and data solutions teams.

Serial entrepreneur and leader of data businesses. Previously CEO of Argus Media, FE FundInfo and WGSN. Co-founder of tech research firm Fletcher Research, sold to Forrester - where he is now also a board member.

Currently based in London, Owain Johnson joined CME Group as managing director, global head of research and product development, in March 2019.

He was previously a CME managing director, Energy Research and Product Development, beginning that position in November 2016.

Anush is CEO and Co-Founder of JMAN Group, leading the business across the UK, North America and Europe.

Having driven their entry into Private Equity, Anush holds many of JMAN’s relationships with funds and operating partners, leveraging commercial data analytics and engineering to enable value creation across portfolios. In 2023, he successfully led the business through a minority investment from Baird Capital.

Following a Master’s in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, Anush began his career in the strategy team at BT OneIT before moving to Arthur D. Little. He worked across Europe and Asia on strategy, due diligence and process/organizational redesign projects before founding JMAN in 2010.

Phil is a founding Partner at Plural. He is a highly experienced strategy consultant with deep expertise in media, events, and agribusiness.

François Cazor is co-founder and CEO of Kpler, the leading provider of data and analytics in commodity markets. After graduating as an engineer in Paris, Cazor started his career in the banking sector (HSBC) as a fixed income trader.

Andrew Pinder currently serves as the Group CEO of Delinian, a position held since February 2023. Prior to this role, Andrew Pinder spent over two decades at Investec, concluding with the title of Head of Investment Banking from April 2002 to February 2023. Andrew Pinder earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Exeter.

Nick Brailey was appointed CEO of Law Business Research in June 2019, after joining the company in 2018 from the LBR acquisition of Globe Business Media Group, where he served as CEO.

Prior to joining LBR, Nick held numerous senior positions within the information services market. As managing director of corporate development at GlobalData Plc he worked on multiple major M&A transactions; prior to that, as chief operating officer he oversaw large-scale integration and transformation projects. Nick brings transaction and commercial experience to LBR, spearheading the company’s growth initiatives in addition to most recently overseeing the acquisition of the US-based IP analytics business Docket Navigator.

He has a degree in Management Sciences from Warwick Business School.

Fredrik is CEO of Energy Aspects, the global leader in data & intelligence for the energy commodity markets.

With offices in London, Athens, New York, Houston, Dubai, Kolkata, Singapore, and Tokyo, Energy Aspects is recognised as the industry leader in short- and medium term analysis of global energy markets and macro policy research (following its acquisition of Medley Advisors from FT Group in 2020).
