Jim launched Plural Strategy in 2014. He has worked in the information industries for over 20 years, both as a consultant and in industry. Jim has advised many of the leading global players in b2b information, data and analytics, media and marketing services, and software. He helps clients with growth strategy, performance improvement, digital transformation and acquisition, and has supported private equity clients on some of the pre-eminent deals in the sector.

Catherine joined Plural from Landmark Information Group, where she was Director of Strategic Innovation. Prior to Landmark, Catherine was a strategy and M&A consultant supporting clients in the B2B information and media industries.

Catherine has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.

Outside of work, you will find Catherine keeping up with her two young children or running by the river close to home.

Fredrik is CEO of Energy Aspects, the global leader in data & intelligence for the energy commodity markets.

With offices in London, Athens, New York, Houston, Dubai, Kolkata, Singapore, and Tokyo, Energy Aspects is recognised as the industry leader in short- and medium term analysis of global energy markets and macro policy research (following its acquisition of Medley Advisors from FT Group in 2020).

Angus Hume is the Chief Executive Officer of Vanda Research, a position he has held since June 2020. Prior to this role, he served as the Partner and Global Head of Distribution at Vanda Research from November 2018 to June 2020. Hume has a diverse background in finance, having previously worked at BCA Research as a Global Director of Sales and at Goldman Sachs. His appointment at Vanda Research is seen as a significant step in the firm's growth and development, as he brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role.

With a strong track record of scaling high-growth technology businesses, I have successfully driven Luminance’s global expansion and spearheaded over $115 million in series B and C funding.

Prior to joining Luminance, I was a Director at Darktrace. There, I established and expanded the company's operations across Africa and later served as the Global Head of the Darktrace Industrial Division, shaping its direction and growth.

Bart is a seasoned consultant with over ten years of experience, dedicated to driving client growth.

He believes that the foundation of true value creation lies in a profound understanding of customers’ challenges, needs, and behaviours, and has specific expertise in customer segmentation, helping clients tailor their strategies to effectively meet diverse market demands.

Bart holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investments from the University of Rotterdam. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, continually seeking new challenges and pushing his limits.

Cornelia Andersson has a strong track record in creating value from data and building customer centric data and analytics products. Executive level business leader with P&L ownership, board advisory, PE advisory and non-executive experience in data, analytics and fintech, across private equity, public and NGO organisations. Having worked through challenging situations, transforming and turning around businesses through product and commercial innovation, she has a genuine passion for building teams, products and businesses for the future, leveraging innovation to create sustainable growth.

Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience advising corporate and private equity clients covering the intersection of information, media, marketing and technology sectors in London, New York and Hong Kong.

He leads client engagements, ensuring that the team addresses the key strategic issues facing our clients.

Lars Eirik Nicolaisen has been with Rystad Energy since 2008 and is currently deputy-CEO and Senior-Partner, residing in Oslo, Norway.

Julie Harris is Chief Executive Officer of Expana, the leading agrifood Price Reporting Agency and global intelligence platform.

Julie has extensive experience leading and scaling international B2B data and analytics businesses, with a particular focus on strategic and cultural transformation to deliver value in private equity-backed environments. She has lived and worked across Europe, North America and Asia, bringing a global commercial perspective to data-led growth.

Prior to Expana, Julie was CEO of IWSR, the global authority on beverage alcohol data and insights. During her tenure, she led a significant transformation of the business, including product innovation, the launch of long-term forecasting capabilities, platform modernisation and international expansion, culminating in its successful sale to WGSN in 2025.

Earlier in her career, Julie held executive leadership roles across several PE-backed businesses, including WGSN, Immediate Media, Upper Street Events and Comparison Technologies. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Hyve plc and Which? Ltd.

Phil is a founding Partner at Plural. He is a highly experienced strategy consultant with deep expertise in media, events, and agribusiness.
