Commercial due diligence for Inflexion’s carve out of GfK’s animal and crop health business

Inflexion Private Equity has signed an agreement to carve-out GfK’s animal and crop health business, the global market leader in the provision of agricultural data and market information, from GfK, the Frankfurt-listed global market research organisation.

Plural Strategy supported Inflexion with commercial due diligence on the leading player in a rapidly emerging information segment.

The business, which achieved $40m of revenue in 2014, delivers proprietary data products supplied on a subscription basis to the major brands in world agribusiness.

The engagement was led by Phil Stone and Julia Borispolets.
