Plural Strategy is delighted to announce the promotion of Jonathan Dufton to Partner.

Since joining Plural in 2014 as part of the founding group, Jonathan has been integral to its growth and success. He has helped to build Plural’s team, capability, and growing reputation across the information industries, spanning the media, information, marketing, technology and events sectors.

Jonathan has advised a broad range of corporate and private equity clients across these sectors globally, advising on growth strategy, performance improvement and supporting landmark M&A transactions. Recent examples include Clarion acquisition of Quartz, Falfurrias Capital Partners acquisition of Ballast, and Bowmark’s investment in IWSR.

I am honoured to be appointed Partner. Plural has always been a collaborative and collegiate environment, and I am grateful to the whole team who have helped me deliver exceptional client work, supported my own professional development, and made Plural a better place to work, including launching our social impact initiative.

I am equally looking forward to be leading our media, marketing and information practice. Despite the unique disruptions caused by COVID-19 over the past year, acceleration in digitisation is creating new opportunities for both operators and investors in the sector, and I believe the need from clients for Plural’s high-quality strategic advice grounded in industry expertise and robust analyses to navigate these challenges will be become stronger.”

We also recognise the achievements of our team with four additional promotions. It is an exciting time for Plural as we approach our 7th year and continue to grow our team and service offering.
