Do you want to be challenged and supported to develop your career in a fast-growing consulting firm? Do you thrive in a collaborative culture? Can you creatively solve complex strategic issues faced by businesses in today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape?

We look for the intellectual curiosity that develops sector experts, the relentless analytical drive to go to the heart of a question (and beyond), the empathy that promotes collaboration, and the desire to take initiative and think independently.

In return, we offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, rapid development, early client exposure, responsibility and continuous learning.

Graduate Analyst applications are open:

What we offer

Responsibility from the beginning

  • Interns and Analysts join project teams straight after induction training and have direct exposure to clients, attending meetings and taking part in presentations with C-level executives.
  • Your voice and opinions will be heard, no matter your level.

Steep career progression

  • We have performance evaluations every six months, including salary reviews, to recognise our team’s hard work and results.
  • We encourage high-performance and place no limit on how fast our consultants can get to the next level.
  • Your development will be based on merit, and we will do our best to support you in developing at a pace that is comfortable to you and meets your goals and ambitions.
  • Many of our senior team started their careers at Plural and have been supported to fulfil their career ambitions and progress.

Learning and training

  • For Interns and Analysts, we deliver 1-2 weeks of induction training to teach the essential consulting skillset.
  • We encourage constant learning and provide regular ongoing training sessions including lunch and learn sessions, cohort trainings and a yearly offsite training in the Mediterranean.
  • Our incredibly collaborative culture ensures ad hoc training and knowledge sharing to ensure we all continue to learn.

A fast-paced, challenging environment

  • Our projects are usually short, high impact and strategic, often around 4-6 weeks in length. This means you are often working on something new and constantly learning – perfect for the intellectually curious.
  • At Plural, you will work for leading corporates and PE investors on challenging projects across dynamic sectors such as events, media and information, marketing, ed-tech, industrials and agribusiness.

Opportunity to work abroad

  • Our exchange programme between our London and New York offices offers the possibility for our team to spend 3-12 months across the Atlantic.
  • Though the majority of work is based in London or New York, our projects have taken the team across the world. Locations have included a rural seaside town in Northern Spain, a factory site in Brazil, and central Hong Kong.

A supportive culture

  • At Plural, we foster a collaborative and dynamic culture. We are always ready to give each other a hand.
  • We also organise many social activities such as dinners, football games, escape rooms, casual drinks and picnics.
  • During lockdown we held virtual socials such as cocktail making, cooking classes and quizzes. We even created our own Plural cookbook!
  • Employees can get involved with or set up initiatives for topics that they are passionate about. Over the past few years Plural team members have set up a social impact initiative and a women’s network.
  • For those interested in music, Plural has its own band that performs at our annual birthday party.
  • Unlike many consulting firms, you’ll be based in our offices for the majority of your time. This gives you much greater control over planning your life outside of work and reduces the time you spend travelling (as well as your carbon footprint).

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to prepare to apply?

The first stage of the application process only takes about 3 minutes – all you need is an updated CV and to answer a few quick questions.

What does a good CV look like?

Concise – Your CV should only be 1-2 pages.

Clearly formatted – Use bullet points and avoid dense paragraphs of text.

Consistent – Avoid using lots of colours or differing fonts or text sizes, they can be distracting.

Impactful – Highlight what you achieved rather than describing what you did.

PDF – We recommend saving your CV as a PDF to ensure your formatting stays consistent and is easily visible on our system.

Do I need to have lots of previous internships to be considered for a Graduate Analyst/Intern role?

No! We consider applicants with diverse experience – whether that is balancing your studies with a part time job, internships or with involvement in student societies. We like to see applicants who can balance different responsibilities and demonstrate achievements in whatever they have undertaken, whether that is training and supervising more junior team members in your Saturday job or taking a leading role in your student society.

Do you sponsor visas?

UK Analyst Roles – We’re unfortunately not able to sponsor visas for our UK Analyst roles. We do, however, accept applicants with the UK Graduate visa and we are usually able to sponsor visas once this expires (at the discretion of the UK Government).

UK Intern Roles – You need to have the right to work in the UK to apply, we do not sponsor visas for internships.

UK Experienced Professionals roles (Associates/Senior Associates/Manages/Associates Directors) – We are able to sponsor visas for our experienced professional roles (at the discretion of the UK Government).

US Roles – Applicants need to have the right to work in the United States to accept a role with us, but we do accept valid OPT/CPT and will endeavor to sponsor visas once this expires (at the discretion of the US Government)

What does the process look like?
For Internship/Graduate Analyst roles:

Stage 3: If you’re successfully progressed to an interview, you’ll be invited to attend a preparatory webinar. The process usually consists of three rounds of interviews.

For Experienced Professionals roles:

Stage 1: Apply online, all you need is a CV.

Stage 2: If your CV is successfully progressed, you’ll be invited to our interview process. The structure will vary depending on the role.

Are you recruiting for any other roles right now?

The roles listed at the top of this page are the only roles we’re currently recruiting for.  For our Intern/Graduate Analyst roles we recruit within specific windows. For our Experienced Professional positions, we recruit when we have a specific need. If you would like to be notified about any off-cycle or ad-hoc recruiting, please do follow us on LinkedIn, where we advertise all our roles.  We are unfortunately unable to consider speculative applications.

I have applied and I haven’t heard back, what should I do?

For our graduate/internship roles: Due to a high volume of applications we may not respond to some applicants until 2 weeks after the deadline.

For our experienced professionals roles: We aim to notify all applicants of a decision within 4 weeks.

If the above time has passed, check your spam/promotional items folders as occasionally our emails may be diverted there, depending on your email server. If you have still not heard anything, please contact us.
