Plural supports Pageant Media with acquisition of Pension Funds Online (PFO)

Plural is delighted to congratulate Pageant Media, a global business information and events provider focused on the asset management industry, on their acquisition of Pension Funds Online (PFO) from Wilmington Plc.

PFO is the go-to information source for UK and European pension funds, bringing together up-to-date financial data and contact information for around 9,000 pension funds through a searchable digital interface.

The UK-based business further strengthens Pageant’s current investor intelligence product offerings and will sit alongside Fundmap, which covers N.American investors.

Plural Strategy provided commercial due diligence on the transaction, combining customer insight with strategic analysis and research to assess PFO’s value proposition, positioning and growth opportunities.

Louise Obadia, who led the Plural team, commented: “We are delighted to have supported Pageant Media on their investment. This acquisition marks another important step in Pageant’s strategic vision to become a leading global data-driven business, assisting asset managers in allocation and fundraising.”

The Plural team, experienced in B2B information and events, included Jim Easton, Louise Obadia, Alexander Easdale, Henry Putt and Louis Pincott.

Founded 7 years ago, Plural Strategy has worked on over 300 projects for corporates and private equity firms across the information, agribusiness and industrial sectors.
